Judges Caught Taking Money For Sending Kids To Jail

Two Pennsylvania Judges of the Court of Common Pleas plead guilty to charges that they took payoffs for incarcerating juveniles.

A pair of detention centers for children were kicking back substantial sums of money to the judges in exchange for sentencing kids to longer than normal sentences.

The detention centers were compensated by the state for each individual they incarcerated and the fees escalated considerably for longer sentences.

Senator Judd Gregg Changes Mind About Accepting Cabinet Position

Republican Senator Judd Gregg, of New Hampshire, who, until a few hours ago, was thrilled about becoming a member of President Barack Obama's cabinet, has withdrawn his name from consideration.

The Senator decided that his political views are too far removed from the President's and his conscience wouldn't permit him to sign on with Obama's cabinet as commerce Secretary.

Collision In Outer Space- 2 Huge Satellites Collide

The world's first outer space traffic accident, involving sizable, and/or functioning gadgets occurred on Tuesday when two huge communications satellites collided.

Space officials said that they have been expecting this for a long time and that it was inevitable due to the crowded conditions in the satellite belt.

The collision involved a 12-year-old Iridium communications satellite and dead Russian communications satellite that was out of control.
